October 3, 2018: K-8 field trip to Decatur Island School​ (click on photo to view in enlarged format)

Students attended a presentation by author Ben Mikaelsen. Ben shared a powerful anti-bullying message, along with his love of words, bears, skydiving, and inspiring stories from his life. Thanks, Ben! Someday, we hope to meet again. Thanks to Decatur Island School, too!

Island Express Water-taxi transported us to Decatur Island. A dry, comfortable, and swift ride through the islands.
